OUR TEAM
A company is only as good as the staff representing it.
Here at Grande Tyres we believe that we have some of the best in the business. With an average of over 20 years of experience in the tyre industry, you can trust our staff to know your requirements. All of our technicians have had rigorous training to ensure that they are capable of handling every eventuality, whether it’s a forklift on site or a road going welfare van, they know what it takes to get the job done. They are up to date on current repair regulations and are skilled in a range of repair techniques, using only quality materials. Unfortunately there is no current legislation as to who can or can't repair tyres and there is no nationally recognised qualification for plant tyre fitters. We often find ourselves having to use our expertise to rectify alarmingly unsafe repairs carried out by untrained fitters.

OUR FLEET
Our custom fleet of vehicles cover the whole of the North East, controlled from a dedicated breakdown control centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Our vans all carry the latest fitting equipment, including fast, efficient compressors, geared towards getting your vehicle up and running in the shortest time possible. From our inception back in 1999, we have invested heavily, year on year, on the most up to date tools, technology and training. We understand what each of our modern mobile fitting units requires daily; from tubes and repair materials to the most commonly used replacement plant tyre sizes, they are all fully stocked and ready to roll twenty four hours a day.
Our bespoke GPS tracking system allows us to dispatch the closest vehicle, update you about arrival times and reroute our vehicles should traffic concerns threaten to cause delays.
